Polariss Privacy Policy

Introduction

Yui Works ("we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Polaris mobile application ("the App").

Definitions

• "Personal Data" means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
• "Service Provider" means any third-party that processes data on our behalf to operate the App.
• "Processing" means any operation performed on personal data.

Data We Collect

1. Data collected automatically (device information, usage data, crash reports, approximate location via IP address).

2. Data you provide directly (e.g. goals, target dates, settings).

3. iCloud synchronized data (goal titles, target dates) stored securely in your iCloud account.

Purpose of Use

We use collected data to: provide and improve the App, authenticate accounts, deliver support, communicate updates, and ensure security.

Storage, Retention & Security

Data is stored on:

• Apple iCloud CloudKit with industry-standard encryption for goal data synchronization
• Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption, access control, and secure infrastructure for analytics and crash reporting

Backup data is deleted 90 days after creation; analytics logs are retained up to 24 months; billing data up to 10 years, unless required longer by law.

Tracking Technologies

The App employs analytics SDKs (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics) that use hashed device identifiers. These identifiers:

• Are hashed (irreversibly transformed) and cannot be used to identify individuals
• Are not shared with third parties
• Are used solely for diagnostic purposes

You can disable such identifiers in your device privacy settings.

Sharing with Third Parties

We share data only with trusted providers such as:

• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics)
• Apple iCloud CloudKit (backup/sync)

Your Rights

Subject to applicable laws (APPI, GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing of your personal data.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes at least 30 days in advance.
